For churches
Scripture your congregation can listen to all week.
Share passages for a sermon series or a season. Your members listen on the drive, at work or before sleep, with no app to install and no account.
Between Sundays
Most of your members will not find an hour for reading this week. They will have the school run, a commute, a walk. Fellowverse fills those minutes with the Bible itself, two to six verses at a time, each a whole thought with one line saying where it sits and who is speaking.
Members can find passages by how they feel, by topic or by reference, typed or spoken. What they keep becomes a playlist that plays hands-free, paced for work, a run, rest or reading. Nothing counts their days, and nobody falls behind.
Ways to bring it to your church
- Share a playlist with your congregation. Make a playlist for a sermon series, a week of Psalms or a season, and post its link in your newsletter, notices or group chats. It plays straight away, and anyone can copy it into their own list. Ready today · Nothing to build · Free
- Put the player on your church website. Paste two lines into any page and your playlist plays right there, in your colours, light or dark. Show this Sunday's reading on your home page, with each verse lit as it is read. Ready today · A few minutes for your web person · Free
- Add a Listen button to your church app. One button opens the full Fellowverse player inside your app: search, playlists and the readings. Ready today · About an afternoon for your developer · Free
- Search inside your own screens. Your developers add our search to pages and screens you design, so someone can type or say "something for fear" or "Psalm 23" and get reviewed passages back. Ready today · For your developers
- A playlist made with you. We prepare a playlist with your team for Advent, Lent or a series, credited to your church. On request
- Scripture for your voice line or assistant. Find passages and quote them word for word, and recognise which passage someone is reading aloud. On request
The text, as written
- Nothing added. No word of scripture is written, changed, summarised or explained by software. There is no commentary between your members and the text.
- Checked word by word. Every passage is drafted from the text's own paragraphs and poetry, then reviewed by a person. Every recording is compared with the text, word by word, before anyone hears it.
- Fast wherever they are. Fellowverse brings scripture, recorded voices and search together. Our servers handle search and speech, while a global delivery network serves the audio.
- Private by default. What a member keeps stays on their phone until they choose to sign in. What they say to search is never stored, and there are no third-party trackers.
Start with two weeks
- This week: listen yourselves. Your team uses Fellowverse for a few days and picks the passages for a first playlist.
- Week one: share one playlist. Post the link to a small group or one service's notices. We can tell you how many people played it and how many kept something, as totals, never names.
- Week two: add it where your people are. Put the playlist on your website and the button in your app, and plan a seasonal playlist with us.
Questions from church teams
How can our church use Fellowverse?
Share a scripture playlist with your congregation by link, show it on your church website, or open Fellowverse from a button in your church app. Members listen on any phone or computer, with no app store install and no account.
What does it cost a church?
Listening is free, and so are sharing playlists, the player on your website and the Listen button in your app. Search inside your own screens is billed on use, with a free allowance to try it. Email hello@fellowverse.app for details.
Do our members need an account or an app?
No. A shared playlist plays in the browser straight away. Members can sign in later if they want what they keep on every device.
Which Bible translation is it?
The World English Bible, a modern translation in the public domain, read word for word. More translations are coming.
Can we put a scripture player on our church website?
Yes. Add your website in the Fellowverse developer console and paste the two lines it gives you. A playlist or a reading plays on your page in your colours, with each verse highlighted as it is read.
Can we make a playlist for a sermon series?
Yes. Make a playlist in Fellowverse, add the passages for the series, make it public and share its link. Members can listen through the week and copy it into their own list.
Is any of it made by a machine?
No word of scripture is. Software finds passages, checks every recording against the text and paces it. It never writes, changes or explains a word of scripture.
Does it work in the car?
Yes. Playlists play offline, from the lock screen and the car's own buttons, and car mode answers next, again and pause.
How do we get started?
